Life as I once knew it came to a screeching halt when I landed my job at Digestive Health Associates back in October. I went from books and trucks to butts and guts in a day. I'm learning all about the ins and outs of the human body... Literally. I miss the boys like crazy, but I really enjoy my job and love the people I work with.

Happy Birthday Destinee Gwen! So much fun and laughter was shared while we made your cake. I hope this will be your best year yet... Love you to pieces!!!

Carlos and Sandra went all out for Thanksgiving! I felt a little barbaric eating the huge turkey legs, but I enjoyed every minute of it...

Later, we all headed out on black Thursday night to shop. My poor mom let me drag her around until midnight only to be up again at 4am to get to Sportsman's Warehouse for... Slippers. Not exactly what we went for, but that's what we left with. AND a $36 vacuum from Wal-Mart AND scarves from Steinmart. Totally worth it, don't you think? My mom says no because what we saved on these great bargains we more than spent on all the RedBulls...

The parade pics speak for themselves.... We won 1st in our category!!!!

My co-workers nominated me to provide cake for a baby shower. I had the great idea of making cake-pop babies! I tried to make them with the same skin tone as the mom, but apparently I only know how to make darker babies. Lol!

What a wonderful gift-Roland took the boys to have Christmas pictures done. I love my handsome lil guys!!

My work peeps at our Christmas party. What a kind, fun-loving bunch, plus I won a $150 gift card to Spa Toscana!!!
I have the best Supervisors (Nancy) and (Sonia). They make everyday fun.

Dr Yamamoto is short and sweet...

Ally Ally Ally... Nothing is ever dull or boring when she is in the room... She has the biggest heart and her love for patients is remarkable.

We found ourselves celebrating D'Sean's 3rd birthday at 7am on December 21st. Well, at that hour it was easy to forget candles. But what a great idea! Just light the wooden matches, stick them in the cake and sing happy birthday at warp 7 speed. Which we did, but those crazy wooden candles burned down to the cake faster than D'Sean could blow out the blaze. Jace took a bite and said it tasted like fire; like camping. D'Sean was quick to correct him and say, "No Jace-Mokey!" improvising at its finest although just a tad redneck.

Roland had a birthday get together for D'Sean a couple days later. I made army men cupcakes and this time we had real candles.

Babysitting with Mimi... Playdough, puzzles, School Christmas program, 6 month teeth-cleaning, sledding and a warm, cozy fire... Equals two happy, pooped little boys. Jace and D'Sean love Mimi time!!!

Jace's first school play!!!! Mimi and D'Sean were there to support and cheer him on!

My mom has been such a God Send! She was able to take two weeks off and spend time with the boys while also running them around to doctor and dentist appointments! I don't know what I would do without her!!!

We had our neighbor Bob and his daughter and granddaughter, Kim and Taylor over for Christmas Eve, then spent Christmas Day at the Neumann's. A blast as always!!!

Thank you Grandma Sara for all the time and effort put into their calendar!

I'm sure D'Sean thinks he is in 7th heaven being in his beautiful girlfriends arms!

A couple ladies wanted to learn how to make flowers, so we made a night of it. I had a lot of fun being able to spend a little time with them. We'll have to do it again soon!
